Hotel Genziana Genoa, Genoa

The hotel is conveniently located in the historic Old Town, close to many attractions, but be aware of safety concerns in the surrounding alleys. The rooms, although not as modern as in the pictures, were overall clean but could use a bit more attention. The hotel offers a decent breakfast and friendly staff, however, dining options could be more varied. Despite some noise from the central staircase, the hotel provides good value for money.

The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were located right below the stairs and had many broken items, although the lighting in the bathroom was good. The service offered dry cleaning and housekeeping but lacked in other areas. The location was a bit seedy, but it was conveniently close to the port and city center. The dining options were extensive and a great value. The facilities had some issues but were adequate overall.
